Description

This nebula is an absolute must in winter during sociable hours while you get away with short exposures and a high chance of success.

Rev B is just a warm-up picture, 37 x 60 sec.

Please have a look at the master flat in Rev C. Can anybody figure what these vertical and horizontal bars are? They can be cancelled away with flats though and I guess I know the perpetrator.

Hundreds of meteors which did not enter the atmosphere (Rev D) were flying through each of all frames in various directions (removed by stacking). I'd love to make a video but still looking for a FITS-to-PNG/TIF batch converter for my 180 lights (I won't do it manually). The PNG/TIF need to be stretched and saved with colors. ASIStudio's FITS viewer is of great help but cannot bulk convert except for unstretched monochrome TIFFs. Any pointer is welcome.

Has anybody noticed that SharpCap Pro when capturing flat and biases saves the first bias frame as a flat frame? Maybe intentionally, but probably no good when stacking in Siril, etc.

BTW, if you haven't done so yet, please get the latest version of SharpCap Pro which now includes its own plate solving algorithm and index files. It works like a love poem and is as fast as a young god. Also great for quick star hopping. EAA for busy people.
